Are free Anti-Virus software any good?

What is cloud backup?

Cloud backup also known as Online Backup is the process where your onsite backups are transferred to an offsite server every night. The server is located in a secure data centre in Perth. Cloud Backup replaces the need for someone to take a backup home each night. It is more secure, reliable and easier to manage and monitor.

What kind of response times can I expect?

We work with each client to establish specific expectations. Our measurable service levels specify clear consequences for not living up to agreed-upon expectations.

How Long is a Managed Services Contract For?

Managed IT Services Contracts it 12 month with automatic renewal which is cancelable within 60 days.

For the HaaS plan how often the hardware gets replaced?

With Managed IT that have hardware included (HaaS) Microwise replaces equipment every 60 months. Any item under the HaaS plan will be swapped out for a brand-new machine every 60 months at no additional cost, items like servers, workstations/desktops, laptops, and firewalls. Items NOT included: monitors, printers, switches, copy machines, etc.

For the HaaS plan are onsite services included?

Yes, the diamond level plan includes on-site service; the gold plan does not include on-site service.

What happens if the hardware goes bad before the 60-month period is up?

If any piece of hardware covered by the HaaS malfunctions, it will be replaced at no charge. Fire, flood, theft, and physical damage would need to be covered under the practice’s liability insurance.

For the HaaS plan, What if I need to add equipment during a contract?

No problem! We will provide a new agreement for each additional expansion which will have its own 60-month contract.

Will I need any server at all if I go cloud?

While the cloud is wonderful, for practices with five or more computers, you will need a “Micro-Server” which will act as a domain controller, file server, and print server.

What data is backed up and where is the backup stored?

Microwise backs up the file server with both on-site and cloud backups. It is not recommended that any data be stored on workstations

What should I do before I call for help?

When possible, write down any information about error messages and take screen shots your issue. Next, attempt to recreate the issue. Often times, it helps to close the program and restart the computer to reset the system, and possibly resolve the problem.

What does having Managed IT Services cost?

Our service model uses a fixed monthly fee, which is based on the size and complexity of your particular network.
